Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) or solid recovered fuel (SRF) is a fuel produced by shredding and dehydrating solid waste (MSW) via a waste converter technology. RDF consists largely of combustible components of municipal waste such as plastics and biodegradable waste.
Our shredding solutions enable our customers to produce a high quality homogenous RDF/SRF fraction that is a stable source of fuel, with high calorific value, free from foreign objects.
Depending on the application and specific customer requirements we can offer single phase or multi-phase RDF systems.
RDF/SRF can be used as fuel in the following industries:
- Cement plants
- Fluidised bed combustion
- Substitute fuel power plants
- Plasma arc gasification plants
